Programs Montessori programs are designed around children's developmental stages. Classes are divided into three year age groups to approximate these cycles. The advantage of this is that children get to spend longer periods of time together. As a result they typically form long lasting friendships and learn how to build a community, an experience that can be missing in today's society. Teachers get to know the children at a deeper level than they would if they were with them for only one year. |
Parent Participation As educators, we recognize the importance that parents play in their children's lives; they are the ones most able to affect their child's education. We value this role and encourage parents to be active participants in the program. Parents are involved in assisting their children to identify their needs and in facilitating the educational experience necessary to meet them. |
